TIMING BELTS

In the sheet-processing industry it is very important that the steel sheets will end up fast and exactly positioned in the converting machine. Goudsmit provides timing belts for this purpose that you will be able to integrate in your existing installation, just as complete units (in close consultation with the client).

Goudsmit default timing belts are furnished with permanent or electromagnets. If only transport occurs, permanent magnets will be applied. If a robot must retrieve the steel sheets from the belt, we will use electromagnets. These magnets will switch fast when the belt has stopped completely, after which they can be placed in the next machine in the same position.

Belt acceleration or delay 3 m/s2.

MAGNETIC SHEET FEEDERS

The sheetfeeder (complete with buffer store and servo drive) transports round blanks into the die within 0,3 sec. of time. .

Goudsmit magnetic sheet separators spread the sheets in the (lid) buffer store.

SLIDE-BED CONVEYOR

The Goudsmit slide-bed conveyor is widely used in the metal and sheet steel processing industries. This model is a completely sealed unit, without external moving parts.

This helps eliminate any risk of seizure, damage or product jams.
